Default Help with random plastic thingy?

Hi first let me say a big thank you to all contributors here, I use this site for the excellent advice it offers.

I was removing the fascia under the steering wheel to replace a fuse when this random plastic piece dropped out. I cannot find anywhere where it should attach and wondered if anyone could help me out?

See attached pics
Thanks in advance
Tim

Rotate 90 degrees to the right so as the "V" piece at the bottom is facing you.
This "V piece is a clip to support the rear of the bottom felt under fascia which clips with the 2 upper plastic clips to the plastic under steering wheel fascia which you have removed.
Look up at where the brake pedal rubber bellows is attached to the firewall with a square plate. There is a nut and bolt at each corner.
The tube part pushes onto the bottom right bolt.

Amend that.
Looking up from inside it would be bottom left bolt.
Remembered this morning that I was upside down when I noticed this,if you were also then left would be your right, hope that's cleared it up for you.Unless of course you have a car built for one of those odd places like France that drive on the wrong side of the road then left would be right.
So that's simple then----next time just throw it in the bin.

Same bit had me foxed for a while but if you look at the carpet you will see the flat spot where it's slotted on. The other end just hangs from a bolt when the carpet is fitted.
