Polestar Performance
As some of you may know Polestar is Volvos Performance/Tuning company they run all of Volvos touring cars in the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
Polestar is to Volvo like, Cosworth is to Ford, Prodrive to Subaru and AMG to Merc. These new performance upgrades are genuine Volvo parts and will not affect any Volvo warrenty on the car. However you will need to inform your insurance that the car has been fitted with the Volvo upgrade. You fill find attached the models and engines they currently do this upgrade for |

Are you positive about the fact it doesn't affect your warranty?
Just need to wait for the upgrade for the V50 D5 to come out...

Yes they are a volvo product sold by volvo dealers and do not affect the warranty thats probably the best selling point , its certainly not the price ..
You wont get an upgrade for the V50 D5 it is already de-tuned as there is no room for the full size radiator required even for the full power 185 bhp version . Dont ask me how the T5 230 bhp engine survives in the V50 , as we all know a petrol engine develops a lot more heat than a diesel . but thats volvos reason .. could the real reason be that the D5 would be quicker than the T5 if it was the full power 185 bhp version , so make the thirsty T5 redundant :-)

they are slowly developing the range it was originally just for the XC90 when it first came out and they have started to widen the range to accom more of the engines volvo do.
they are not only for diesels now but also doing them for some of the petrol range |
