Default Radio Station Not Retained

Hi.

I have a 2020 XC40 Inscription Pro and I was wondering if anyone can help me resolve a niggling issue with the radio? Basically, it doesn’t retain the current radio station between uses and it always defaults back to BBC R2 FM even though the station I was listening to was a DAB one. I thought it might be a Driver Profile thing, but I can’t find any guidance on setting a preferred station (or resetting one for that matter).

It’s not a big issue in the scheme of things, but it’s really irritating!

Could be the driver profile is set to BBC Radio 2

I have exactly the same issue. It happens to me if I am using Apple Car Play for navigation(Google or Apple or Waze). The next time I start the car the radio has gone from DAB to a saved FM station. If I don't use navigation I don't have a problem and the same DAB station I was listening to is retained.

It was also the same behaviour with a previous XC60.

I did try to explain to the service manager at a service but it was too much for them to understand!

Is yours the same or does it happen all of the time?

Software update 2.9 says there is a fix "Radio channel unchanged when starting a new drive cycle". Have you updated your software? If so, is this issue resolved?
