Default Guard Alarm 2

I'm sure there's something buried somewhere in these hallowed pages, but anyhoo, does anyone know how to programme a Guard Alarm 2 fob, please?

That's the one with the two oblong buttons - top large with 'lock unlock' bottom small, unmarked.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

T

p.s. did read an online guide - sounded too good to be true, so would like to double check.

p.p.s I have one of the originals which is already programmed and working.

You will need to turn the ignition on and off five times. On the fifth time leave in the on position and the led on the facia should flash rapidly. Press the large button on the fobs you wish to program successively during the following 10 seconds.....

Remember you will HAVE TO re-Programme your existing (Working) one as well this is because when you re-Programme the "New" ones the car will "Forget" the Existing (working) one !!!
