Default Stromberg issues.

Hi all,

My 145 has been laid up for a number of years and I've recently got it running again, however the throttle spindle is very stiff, making for a frantic engine shut down during the first run! Also, the throttle can't be made to close all the way, the adjustment screws are backed off but it resolutely stays open a few mm causing the engine to idle at 2000 rpm or so. I can't close the throttle all the way with my hand, it's like it's jammed on something.

Has anyone else had this issue before? Are these carburetors known for this?
