Smile Querie on self leveling suspension

Hi guys just a new member here I collect my 2006 volvo xc90 diesel auto SE D5 next week. Im trying to find out if this model and year had self leveling suspension. As my work intails a lot of equipment to load in the car. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, all UK XC90 have self-leveling suspension factory fitted, unless the car has been modded or had the dampers and springs replaced with std units. There were some 2010 models that were delivered with std dampers and springs, but they should have been recalled/refitted with self-leveling shortly after delivery.

Look under the car the Nivomat units are short and fat compared to std dampers, easy to spot. They self adjust after a couple of hundred meters to a level ride height ... but they wont if the car is over loaded.

Hope it helps
