Default For Sale - Medusa 18” Alloy Wheels

4x Medusa 18” Alloy Wheels for sale, No tyres

There is a story to these wheels so please read, I bought the car 2 months ago with these alloys fitted as standard.

I noticed a slight judder and thought it was just due to the balancing, when I took them to garage they said that the front 2 wheels were a mess with big flat spots and buckled and the back 2 were ok but were slightly distorted.

I then took them to a company who thought that they could fix them by heating and re-shaping. It turned out the front 2 were too bad to fix.

They managed to source me 2 wheels from a scrapped V50, and refurbished all the wheels, however the refurbishment is not the best job. You only notice when you get close but there are some patchy bits and some runs, which I could not live with, together with the fact that the back 2 are still slightly distorted.

The company offered to re-do the wheels and fix the rear 2, as I need my car every day for work and the fact that he made a mess of them the first time I never went back and just bought new wheels…like I said I can’t afford the hassle.

If you were not as fussy as me then you could just put them on and you are good to go, if not then they would need refurbished, I was quoted £60 per wheel from a company down south which included sorting the slight distortion of the back 2 wheels.

I have tried to take as many pictures as possible and to be as honest as I can about these wheels.

I am looking for £250, and would ideally be looking for buyer to collect from Dalgety Bay, Fife.

However might consider courier if need to.
