For sale My Volvo S40 55plate New alloys/Parrot kit/Brakes
Hi everyone, I'm selling my much loved Volvo s40 i really don't want to sell but i have to due to the birth of my new baby girl.
I have only had the car for about 5 months and changed a few things in the time i have had it. Volvo s40 SE D (E4) 96500 miles taxed until September m.o.t October it has had 1 previous owner and also has (Full Volvo Service History) It was last serviced yesterday at Volvo 11/06/2012. I have all paper work to show. The car is in lovely condition i am a non smoker so no burn holes rips or stains. The the interior is immaculate. I have had the windows tinted and also had Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth Hands-free Kit /Music professionally fitted £220( I have receipt and box also still has screen protector on and i have not fitted the remote yet so the buyer can choose where they want it) I have brought some 18inch assassin alloy wheels with a set of nankang tyres about 3 months old,£940 ( i have the old set of alloys in the shed with 4 legal tyres) ( And also 4 conternetol snow/winter £500 tyers like new and will fit the old alloys. I have replaced all the bulbs in the car the front headlights have got the brightest bulbs you can buy without changing the lamps. £20 a bulb I have also just had the frond brakes done Discs and pads £250(i also have the receipts) The car is in lovely condition i really would like to keep but i now need a bigger car. the car is very good on fuel and i have not had no problems with it. i am open to sensible offers for the car you can come and view anytime i live in Birmingham. Thanks for looking I am looking for a volvo XC90 so if anyone has one and is looking to px let me know. |

Just a thought, but have you considered getting a roofbox to solve your space problems instead? I've got 2 young kids and recently switched to an S40 from an Octavia. Despite some reservations about the big drop in boot size I haven't yet regretted the decision for one moment. The boot is fine for every day use, fits the buggy plus other bits & pieces in fine - and when we're going away for longer and need the travel cot plus the rest of the gubbins that goes with the kids I've bought a roofbox. May not be any good for you of course but just worth the thought as you are obviously reluctant to part with the S40. Cheers. |

Hi Jimminycricket
Thanks for your post, the problem i have is i need to fit 3 car seats in the back 2 booster seats and 1 baby seat i have already brought the smallest baby car seat i can buy and all the kids booster seats are nearly the same size. I know when i do sell the car i will miss it much and yeah it is a lovely car thanks for saying. I have spent a fair bit on the car and was planning on spending more, Just a shame i have to change it now. The car is a real head turner im sure someone will be happy with it. Thanks again |
