Part Exchanging
I would urge members to be careful when dealing with the Volvo dealer, Stratstone Ilford.
I'd bought my Volvo at that dealership in 2000, and part-exchanged it there recently when I was told that the car I was acquiring was an ex Volvo manager's car. It turned out to be an ex Hertz rental car. I should have checked the registration document at the time, but having used the dealer over some time, not least for servicing and parts, I just didn't. The misrepresentation was admitted by the dealership, the transaction has been reversed, and I now have my original Volvo back, but it's been disappointing to say the least to have been through the process. |

RE: Part Exchanging
BTW - There's nothing wrong with an ex-rental car.
They have been driven fron new by a mix of drivers, some slow, some fast.....the best way to run-in a car.
