FORSALE 240 Torslanda Wagon 7 Seater MOT till November £300
OK, Here is a 1992 Silver Torslanda. I bought it for the Dog Guard and Load Liners..... I know, I know but its actually been a useful car. We have a 1988 GL Wagon as well. So dont need 2 of the Swedish Herd on the Drive, as much as I may like to have, the Mrs Says NO!
Anyway, The Torslanda has about 240k+ on the clock. I'll confirm later what it is exactly, its High. Plus side its only a couple of K away from the 1/4 Million Miles Badge MOT till November the 19th. No Tax. Bodywork? Well, I'd say average, but its not full of holes. Arches are good but the not so good are missing NSR Black Door moulding, Slight Corrosion to the OSR Door as its had a Repair in the past, not beyond saving but also not pretty. Lots of age related usage marks from keys and stones, Big Chip to the windscreen, not sure about MOT failure, but as its got MOT I want not worried. Any Questions Feel Free to ask, Have a look at pics. Can do more. Interior is OK, has the Rear Seats, but one of the Seat Belts is missing, was going to have the conversion in our GL but to be honest with the Dog in it, its not possible to use! So technically its a 6 Seater!!!! But there are Cheap Seatbelts to be had. Wants a clean. Oh and there is a heel hole in the drivers mat but for the miles its done fairly well. Drives Fine, loaded or unloaded. Engine Pulls well, actually its quieter than the GL we have with less than 1/2 the miles. Gearbox is OK, shift lever has a bit of a long throw action, needs a bush or something, but still works perfectly well. Brakes Straight and No Vibrations at speed. In Fact its a lovely Volvo.... cant believe I said that. Um, Central Locking Opens the Doors fine, but the Tailgate is hit and miss, the Locking is fine all round. Oh and some times the Fuel and Temp Gauges sign off for a few mins, but they always come back on. Erm, Oh yes, the some of the door handles are a little stiff? Don't know why but they all work, maybe lack of use? Not a lot else to say. I do have the Full Service History and All the Bills from new though..... Bought it from the original owner and his wife. Nice Volvo People. http://www.flickr.com/photos/39142981@N07/3597735789/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/39142981@N07/3597737873/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/39142981@N07/3598545692/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/39142981@N07/3597740171/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/39142981@N07/3598547812/ Right, any questions, or if you want to take it for a spin, email me or call me 07837 074 763, I'm Ben. £300 |

Its cars like this that make me mad that I bought my electro nightmare 940. Scruffy but fsh n only 300 quid. Finances at the mo rule it out( road tax, 25 mpg, water pump, central locking.....) so just dreaming but somebody should surely look at the bigger picture
