To be honest, screen printing, cropping then hosting multiple images from the parts catalogue is quite laborious and there are free exploded diagrams from various Volvo parts suppliers.

Obviously Vida is free to anyone who buys a Dice but the Vida software on its own is £1.50 from eBay.

At that price, it's not even a consideration and I genuinely don't understand why everyone doesn't have the software as a bare minimum.

What is the concern if you have this issue? My last v70 had this for all the 2 years I had it. It never got worst and I never noticed any performance issues.

Apart from the noise, is anything untoward happening that would need rectifying?

From what I've researched, the popping sound indicates a vacuum issue. So on cars with the euro 3 engine, that could be the vacuum engine mounts leaking, the vacuum pump itself amongst other parts & it can cause overboost issues with the turbo. The euro 4 is slightly different by means of not having vacuum engine mounts, but it still has a vacuum pump.
