Default Volvo V70 Auto box problem

I have a Volvo V70 2006 AWD auto D5 engine 62,000 miles, Auto box type TF80SC six speed.
The problem is when I kick down it comes down quite hard, this is only once in fifty times, I have completely flushed the gearbox out with Volvo oil, it’s definitely a lot smoother change but it still clunks down in gear from time to time. I had it put onto a Volvo computer, the fault code came up then TMC 0051 lock up solenoid SLU stuck in position off would this fault be the cause . If I’m driving it steady it seems ok but if I drive the car in manual change mode even if I change down at a reasonably high rev there doesn’t seem to be a problem at all, when using the manual mode does it go through a different circuit than the throttle pedal? I’ll be grateful if there is any expert who could give me some advice. Many Thanks.

I believe the Solenoid block on this type of box is a weak point on what is a good box by all accounts. Have a read of this, it might be of some help.
