XC60 SE Lux - Voice Calling

My recently purchased 64 plate XC60 SE Lux does not have a call buton icon, just a mute button where the call icon would be. Is there any way of making voice calls on my car or do I always have to access the phonebook and call via the scroll button?

I use voice commands to make calls.

I never use mine. Prefer to just press phone then click the scroll wheel to get last calls.
