It all depends on the driver it could be toast in 30k miles! A good driver should get 200k out of one mines original at 144k and there are many others with higher millage on the originals still

In normal sensible use, you may well have a leaking slave cylinder before the clutch is worn out ! Change the clutch plate & cover at the same time (& check DMF is in spec).

Some like their power starts others hold it on the bite at lights and junctions then theres the lazy changer often pulling away in 2nd with a mega clutch burrrrn.

All of the above spank your open wallet

This is the situation at 48k something went wrong with my clutch and had to have a new clutch fitted when i got it back i found the clutch operation to be hard. It has now done 91k a few months ago the clutch pedal got light in operation it bites about a third of the travel from fully depressed. Because the operation has got very easy to operate and not used to it i fear it is going to give up on me.i am getting paranoid about it
James.

did you have a genuine volvo clutch fitted ? All you can do is carry on driving it until something goes wrong , it might never happen ... If it wasn't a volvo clutch i would plan to get one fitted at your convenience ..
