Volvo Literature - Interesting?
I guess this is what's referred to as a"green book"? Acquired recently for the price of a magazine, looks to be very useful for my two 1986 740s.
Complimenting nicely the"brown"Haynes manual. Mind you it's probably available to download somewhere...especially given the recent thread/posts. Roadking. |

More Volvo Literature - Interesting?
Going through the all the documentation - that came with my recently acquired(in April)one owner, 60k from new 1986 744GL - I thought you might be interested in seeing these items.
I guess they're quite rare now. 1. The Anglo-Nordic Times, a piece lifted from a PR document specifically about Volvo's contribution to the UK economy in sourcing many components from UK suppliers - this was published in March 1984, and states 10.000 jobs depend on Volvo's British connection. I'll happily upload the other pages if demand is there. 2. A rare little sticker(unused)related to the above sourcing of components from UK. I thought this fascinating-but then I can be a bit of an anorak! Thanks for looking, Prufrock. |
