As above looking for replacement spare get you home spare wheel. 06 XC 90 SE D5.
Mine is severely rusted and don't think it safe even at 40mph.

I had my space saver rubber valve replaced a few weeks ago and thought the wheel looked rougher than the proverbial badgers... so today I removed the wheel for closer look. On first inspection it looked like the wheel was ready for the scrap heap but upon further inspection and with the help of an angle grinder fitted with a wire brush I see it's only surface rust and not terminal. I've decided to remove the tyre to allow access to the rim lip and I'll clean up and repaint before putting it back under the car

Removed the tyre today and finished cleaning up the rim with the needle scaler. Currently sitting steeping in Kurust for an hour or so before washing, drying and painting

Two coats primer and three coats satin black, will leave it overnight to harden before refitting the tyre.

It'll never be a show winner but better than what I started with and should keep the rust at bay and the rim usable for a while longer

Job jobbed.
Popped into my local tyre fitted and scrounged a couple of Schrader valves and some soap. Fitting the tyre was a lot easier than I anticipated and now the wheel is back on the underneath of the car
