Default Ac condenser leak

Hello, i have a 2009 s40 1.8 sport with a suspected leaky ac condenser. I know its going to be an expensive repair.
My question is: should i buy a new heater core as this lives with the AC condenser and will be disturbed? Im told its the plastic pipe connectors that leak.

Is it the AC condenser or the evaporator that needs replacing Lee because the condenser is at the front of the car in front of the engine coolant radiator, the evaporator is the one that lives with heater core that sits behind the dashboard? I'm guessing it'll be the condenser as that's what much more commonly goes on these.

Had my condenser replaced a couple of years ago.
£250 all in.
Initially followed user guides on the net and Haynes manual, all of which had the incorrect description for the condenser on my car (seems later models have the condenser and engine radiator held together tightly in a plastic housing so you can't just drop the condenser out like many self help videos suggest)

I replaced my condenser in the summer myself. Followed some guidance online but could do it without now. New one cost me just under £100. Then a regas at around £70.
Bumper off job but not as hard as it sounds and that's me.
