I am glad you have got it sorted but I think you are being a bit unfair in Kwikfit, from what you describe your local garage couldn't solve the problem either and it was only luck that resolved it - and he was only taking the tyre off to rotate it on the wheel, tyat could have been done by Kwikfit if you had offered to pay them

Fact was Kwik fit balanced wheels and told me were now OK clearly they did not check balance after fitting weight as this would of shown problem. Have had laser alignment done as a process of elimination 2 vehicles same garage neither balanced correctly sorry but you can get better than a Kwik fit fitter.

I've heard of the problem before and if a wheel won't balance it is usual to take the tyre off and look inside at the wheel rim.
