Default Possible New XC60 R Design / Advice Needed

Hi everyone as I may be about to order my first Volvo I wanted some advice of spec and model please.

Firstly can I say that I have never really looked at a Volvo before but have been using a v50 R design (Pool Car) for about 2 months and have been pleasantly surprised on the drive and how vehicle suits my lifestyle. Anyway I was still going to stick to my normal Mercedes order then I noticed the XC60 on my list, went to test drive this weekend with family in tow (except dog) and I am sold.

Any advice you can give would be most appreciated, my spec is below.

XC90 R Design G/T
Privacy Windows
Nav
Rear Sensors or Camera ?
Volvo On Call ?
Saville Grey? (Just worried may be to dark with privacy windows)

The 2 items with question marks I have not added and will most probably not add Volvo on call as not sure how much use this would be.

Thanks for your time.

Xc60 or xc90 that would be the core of the question; and I wonder what an G/T model comprises?

Back to your question, I would advise Front and rear parking sensors otherwise you will either be scraping the car all the time oe avoiding parking spaces as you think that they are too small, a must imho.

Regarding colour, saville grey is nice - that is what my last car was, I fancied a change from the grey/black/white that seems to be everywhere these days

I think G/T means geartronic.

I would advise both front and rear sensors and the rear camera.

Winter pack. It ain't a Volvo (imho) without heated seats...

Otherwise, with front & rear parking sensors, I think you've got the basics sorted!

I'd not be without winter pack or front and rear sensors.

Other thing I added in was the spare wheel !

Winter pack and front and rear parking sensors, it's a big car and the heated seats are fantastic.

The R-design looks great in saville grey imo. I was going to go for inscription silver until my dealer showed me a grey r-design and I think it's the best of the colours available...

I prefer white - imho the "black bits" on the nose are more noticable.

hi, I have ice white which is easy to clean but easy to get dirty!! F & R parking great, heated seats a must!, the active main beam is excellent (think it was part of the driver support package) and the Harmon Kardon audio is fantastic. Not too fussed about the other extras I have got

Default Thanks

Thanks everyone for your replys going for final test drive today, I have picked up from advice that f&R sensors are a must and also the heated seats.

The colour I am still undecided about but like the pearl white and grey which is my favourite just concerned how dark vehicle may look with the privacy windows.

Does anyone have any advice about Volvo On Call, I don't see much benefit other than all the info to the app which I like but trying to find a way to justify.

Thanks Again
