I've had some bad results off aftermarket alloys in the past, including wheel balance probs and distorted rims. IE incurable judder.
I had some problems with Team Dynamics - supposedly brilliant, actually pretty pants - same as you, incurable vibration and worse dynamically than the stock items.

Problem is good wheels are really expensive - I think I struck lucky cause I got my OZ's for £200.

Have to agree with you on Team Dynamics.
Have over the last 4 years bought & sold various rims/tyres (always at a lose), but never been happy except with original manufactuer, ie VOLVO.
You can get from a good dealer (VOLVO) virtually any tyre/rim you want.
Obviously tech specs come in!!!! According to vehicle!!!??

I think the aftermarket wheels are usually much cheaper than the stock items (and therefore worse)

after all I'd never pay £1300 for brand new set of OZ's, and often the stock wheels are more expensive than that!

If you compare what you can get for the same price... i think aftermarket are better.. but no one pays that much for rims on a Volvo

You won't go wrong with stock as you say... but I am very impressed with my OZ wheels.
