Default Engine cut out at low speed acute turn

Happened twice today, slow acute turns, a bit unsettling to say the least, restarted immediately, likely cause, what to check?

Can I ask whether this happened in the wet? I only ask as twice yesterday in the pouring rain I temporarily lost my power steering whilst negotiating roundabouts. It happened so briefly that I don’t know whether the engine simply cut out and restarted again very quickly (I didn’t see lights come on the dashboard) thus causing the power steering to cut out and make steering heavy or whether there was a problem with the steering system itself. All very strange but a bit worrying nonetheless, fortunately only occurring at low town speed.

I’d be interested to hear more from you.

No rain, am in N Ireland, so we'd a lovely dry day here yesterday , on reflection is was when making two left turns in towns. Engine actually off, lights on dash, started/ stopped several times after that normally.

How strange! No rain in Northern Ireland? That’s a rarity!!

Let’s hope someone can point you in the right direction to sort your concerns out, maybe someone will have an idea for mine too.

Do any traction control lights come when the issue happens?

Didn't notice any, no jerkiness or warning symptoms
