Automatic gearbox
My S40 is going fine,
but I was talking to a Guy today at work whose auto gearbox don't creep anymore in drive. He's got to slowly push the accelerator down, to gain higher revs, but then it lunges forward. It's OK in reverse; i.e. it creeps without touching the throttle. Anyone got any helpfull suggestions. (He dont have a PC). Thanks 2Rivers.;) |

Auto D position Failure
Hi Pal,
I can only think of one thing - You need a replacement Transmission Cable. |

What does the transmission fluid look like?
Should be nice and clean red colour, if its a dirty brown/burnt colour he may well be advised to change the fluid and see how it goes after that. |
