best of luck. I tried flogging my GLT a year or so back, no interest at all, so I ended up keeping it. its in too good condition to simply give it away for pennies

Trust me..If I had somewhere to lay it up off road or under cover I would be keeping it.
It's a very reluctant sale and I really don't want to sell but as we only have street parking. All this coupled with Taxation /Insurance rules in the UK these days leaves me with no option but to sell
I have had three of these cars and this one by far is the best one.

Well I'm sorta kinda interested but I'd like it better if it was a manual estate and I have three already and my daughter would kill me. You haven't got a spare engine in a shed somewhere? That I'd REALLY go for.

Sorry then Roger..can't help you there. This here's an Auto and a Saloon!
The only engine I have in the garage is a 6cyl Nissan Diesel which was destined for this car, but due to me soon losing my rented garage, the project had to be abandoned and car and engine sold separately.

Deposit now paid - I'm rellay looking forward to collecting this in a few weeks

It'll be so nice to get back into a 700 - having had a 76) GLE and 740 GL in the past :-)

I had a very pleasant 300 mile drive home
