Default First Volvo - 2014 V40 D2

Hi all - pick up new car in a couple of days.

Is there a way of typing in Vin/Plate to see what spec was bought in the vehicle from new ?

Thanks in advance

You would need to ask a Volvo main dealer for that.

You used to be able to find this when you created a log in for Volvo ID but the removed the facility over a year ago. It is still worth doing though as periodically they offer accessories at reduced price.

Log on to the Volvo web page and click on the drop down against the circle with the figure in it at the extreme top right hand.

If your car was manufactured after August 2013 it will be considered by Volvo to be a 2014 model. The factory closes down in August for the holidays and on return the model year is as stated. If that makes sense!

Does it actually show the full factory spec or just the model year?

Is this still August cut-off still the case? I have an MY2019 V40 being delivered next week.
