John - not sure if this link is any help, i've had it in my bookmarks for months waiting for the "order status" to change. It's been along the lines of "no orders being taken as updating the manuals" for ages. Hee's the link anyway :

http://www.mk-x.com/volvocarmanuals.htm#Paypal_Orders

I don't know if they're any good, whether they've just forgotten to update the order status or what but it might be helpful.

Can't PM you since I don't have enough posts yet.

Do you happen to have Haynes manual for a 940 (1990-1998)?

Cheers.

Perhaps you should read Bobs other posting here :

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=165685

You might be lucky but from the sound of it, he doesn't have any manuals at all.
Out of curiosity, is your Haynes Manual the "Service and Repair" or the "Owners Workshop Manual" type? If it's the former, then it would be very limited, if it's the latter you should be ok. I have the Haynes 740/760 OWM and it's pretty good, my major criticism is the wiring diagrams as they have been "shrunk to fit" and as such lose a lot of clarity. I've tried scanning them at something like 500dpi on my scanner which has improved things but sometimes it also makes it twice as hard to work out where the connections are! Other than that, the Haynes manual is reasonably good and is biassed towards the V6 rather than the 4 cylinder, which is annoying for me!

If you look a few posts up you will see that all the parts went to scrap. Because of ill health and people messing him about ( the usual internet folk who want stuff but don't actually want it then come up with bull 5hit excuses)

Being a VOC member and after owning around 10 different Volvos over 25 years, I have a garage full of new and used parts, but due to worsening ill health I'm no longer able to DIY very often, so it must all go so that the property can be modified.

I have parts for 700/900/V90 series, some 240 parts also. All the used parts are in good useable condition, as I saw no point in keeping rubbish. I'm not looking for 'silly' prices, but wish the parts to go to other enthusiasts who will make good use of them at a sensible cost. It's all far too good to scrap.

For example, there are OS & NS 960 headlamps with side and indicator lights complete with wiper motors and arms, 700 and 900 series rear light clusters and even a full set of cam followers to suit either a 960, V90 or 850 that have done less than 500 miles. Air mass meters, brass radiators, fuel pumps, shocks and numerous radios with codes, relays, 2.4litre reconditioned cylinder head, air-con compressors, starters, hoses, trim, badges, carpets, seat heater elements etc. etc.

It would take me far too long to list absolutely everything I have, so just PM me directly with your wants and I'll contact you asap. No sensible offer will be refused. You may also leave your request on this thread as I will be checking in during the coming days. Collection from the Guildford Surrey area is possible as some items would cost an arm and leg to send by post or courier.

I also have over 100 Haynes manuals for numerous makes including Volvo and some genuine Volvo workshop 'manuals' for 700/900 series.

I am hoping to clear it all within a few weeks, so if there is someone out there that would like to view it all and make me an offer for everything, please do get in touch.

Here's hoping that someone out there will want something before the local scrapyard or council tip starts to beckon!!

Cheers, Bob.
If you had put them on ebay and set the buyer requirements to the correct levels you would have got a confirmed sale, easily 200 for the gearbox anyway if it was properly pictured, i would say that there is virtually no chance of getting rid of all that stuff on any owners club forum in the run up to xmass. Best wishes for improved health. A
