745 for sale - many watchers!

Just keeping a watch on 700s for sale. This one is slightly unusual (unusual is not always good) in that it has the rare red Trico Plush cloth, complete with broken door bins, plus other missing plastic trim. I've not seen tailgate corrosion that bad before.

Whoever buys this car (29 watchers) will find it near impossible to source trim parts...

A lady my mum used to work for had a 740 saloon in silver with that red trim. The car was mint but she wanted a brand new car and her husband said no. One day she "accidentally" crashed it into a brick wall and wrote it off. Then got a brand new car.

Yes, that's the worst tailgate I've ever seen. having said that, there are plenty of silver ones about breaking. I too was going to suggest if you need the rare red interior parts, the first place to start looking would be Lakes.

The rest of the car doesn't look too bad apart from that headlining....!!! But in its current condition with that age/mileage I think £750 is a bit ambitious. There are plenty of decent condition 940's out there for that money.

It must be something about that silver/red combination that distorts peoples ability judge values lol. There was a 740 TD advertised about 6 months ago. Take a look at the asking price for the mileage.
