Default 123GT rear trailing arms

Hi All,

Can any of those "in the know" please tell me the difference between standard and 123GT trailing arms?

Brookhouse list new ones (672607 - torque rod) but they state "(not 123GT)" in the listing.

I didn't think there was a difference at all but I'm waiting to be enlightened by someone more knowledgeable then myself.

Thanks in advance.

Mike.

GT arms have a parallel bush, non GT are hourglass shape. They are interchangeable but should always be paired

Many thanks.

Is the only difference the bushes? Are the arms identical?

I think I have a pair of those arms.

As far as I know, for just one model year, the hefty rear bushes were fitted to all Amazons prior to them going across to the hourglass shape bushes. My understanding is that the arms were the same, but the GT had a harder bush though the dimensions were the same.

If that's the case, I have 2 arms that still have completely knackered bushes in them and suitable for refurb.

Could you please have a check, send photos, and let me know how much you need for them?

One of mine is quite corroded and I’d prefer to refurbish as a pair.

Many thanks,

Mike.

Give me a shout on 07811378437 if needed.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think the 123GT had the same big suspension bushes as a late P1800S. I think the arms were the same as well, but not not certain

Anyway, there's more information on CVI Automotives list than on Brookhouse's list.

If they are what you want, what shall we say? Is a tenner each fair?

All the best,
Adam

Sounds fair if they're the right ones. Just trying to get my head round all the variants. Will try to post a photo of mine and check CVI to make sure I can get the bushes.

Thanks Adam.

Mike.

Thanks Adam.

Mike.

Hopefully I’ve managed to upload a photo of the arm off the GT. (edit - see next post for photo).

If the ones you have Adam are this type for the parallel sided metalastic bush, and are in good condition I’ll have them both.

Let me know how much they’d be to post up to Cheshire if you’re willing to pack them up. Alternatively, I’m going to the National BKV this Sunday if you happen to be going too.

Many thanks,

Mike.
