It looks like the fins are broken near the back of it. There was also a batch of those that was made by someone else (pirate copies) and those are crap quality.

A amazon owner in Stockholm is asking questions about which version this cover is and not getting answers so we will see if the seller gets back to him before the auction ends...

Thats quite a bit of damage for a £200+ rocker cover.
Probably weldable and could be built up but a lot of work
What we need is a decent cover and I get our forging company take a pattern

Hi - I'll take one too. I'd like my Estate's name on it: The Blue Dolphin.

I named her after a boat in a song with the same name (and a similar story).

Her's a 30 second cut: http://www.last.fm/music/Stan+Rogers...h+Blue+Dolphin

and the lyrics (sound familiar to anyone?) http://www.lyricsfreak.com/s/stan+ro..._20260688.html

and... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Dolphin_(schooner)

I need a rocker cover as a core for the casting process.
I have the standard fare volvo alloy RB however the reason we like the EJ one is the thin long flutes.
Theoretically we could put anything in the middle ' blue dolphin', personal name even blue oyster club! However I would steer away from anything specific such as Volvo or EJ.
That's why I haven't offered Ruddspeed ones.
In terms of numbers I can get a breakout cost based on numbers. However expect that if in ones or twos it will be v expensive due to the NRC.
Which if we want a name what do we choose?

Not to splitting hairs but the 'R-sport' term was not used until the mid-70's. All the upgrades and notes I have seen from the 60's and early 70's used the term, 'Competition Services Department'. But I am limited in my collection of that stuff to English stuff, maybe Swedish printed matterial on race parts did use the term 'R-sport'

Thanks

Good point Chris. How about Gunnar Andersson or another famous Volvo race driver?

You can use mine if the money's right. Provided I get it back in one piece.

You know I have an E-J cover, right?

alternatively you get a ruddspeed one, with the advantage of coming with the car itself_ http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C337588 i know the colours a bit gaudy, but its a ruddspeed 123gt.... well if anyone is selling reproductions of anything, please PM me as i will certainly get one when the funds allow it and the skandix ones arent very nice.
