Good to hear, good luck.

John the previous owner was a real gentleman and helped me out a few times with hard to find parts, guys like him make owning a classic much better experience. He would be happy to know his old car has gone to a good home and to be used daily.

Got to say, it's stories like this that make me realise I'm doing the right thing by Amazon hunting. I've met a lot of decent people who really do give a damn!

PM or email mitchthe@hotmail.com a postal address and I'll send you some old pics of the car. I also have an article in an old Volvo owners club booklet that John wrote about buying the car which I can also send on.

Default Returned to road

Blue estate now returned to the road after a lot of welding (whole of the rear end, chassis legs, inner wings, etc). Lasted 4 days then axle broke off o/s support arm, made a hell of a noise. Other side looks paper thin as well - anyone got any estate support arms? They cost a fortune new!

Long shot...you didn't buy your 66 in Dundee...I sold mine to guy from Edinburgh around that time....

Thanks for the responses to my suspension woes. Ended up buying the whole shaboodle (arms, bushes, bolts) new from Amazon Cars. Rob & Emma have always provided a good service, I'm expecting the parts tomorrow.
