Thanks for the comments. Yes it's unfortunate . I would much rather be selling it as a whole car as just before it broke down it was put through an MOT at the start of November and it sailed through with no advisories. It's a non running engine I'm afraid and I don't know why it won't start. I have no code reader either and am not in a position right now to get it towed down to the garage for checks etc.

Indeed it is a shame, a lot of these these to be getting broken up at the moment, but needs must etc.
How did it breakdown, was it a catastrophic bang, or it just stopped working one day? I wish i had the means to save it complete, however lack of storage means it's a no go. Good luck with the sale.

The car has now sold but the turbo and intercooler are still available.
The turbo is a genuine Volvo/Mitsubishi TD04H-13C in excellent condition. It was fitted to the car last year and then sorned so it has had virtually no use. Open to offers. The intercooler and pipework is also available for sale and again open to offers. Thanks. |

Hi,
If you still have the Intercooler and pipe work i'm interested. I'm looking for something to fit to my Saab, the Volvo 760 ic is a good fit, do you know if the one you have is a similar fit and pipe work arrangement? I'm planning to do something along these lines.... http://www.saabcentral.com/techhelp/...ic/default.htm I'll actually be in Stockport today (Sunday) so could pickup. Give me a call/txt on zero-7866 253558 (I'm unable to send pm's) Thanks |

I'm looking for the following for my new acquisition:
* an owners manual / service book pack for a '95 940, preferably one that comes with the grey folding cover/case. * a locking fuel cap with two keys. * the little white plastic clip that fits into the trim in the estate area to hold the tooltray in place. * the blue plastic cover for the screenwash reservoir Do you happen to have any of these left and if so, how much do you want for them? Many thanks.
