Default Looking for a volvo 740 turbo manual

As the title suggests, i've been looking now for a few weeks, unsuccessfully, for a turbo 740, i would much prefer a sedan but i would consider a wagon, any age, color, trim, 2.0 or 2.3. must be manual and must be turbo. any mileage, condition is not not the most important, but not a complete junker.

PLEASE get in touch with me if you know someone/have one of these for sale, i am willing to travel, (closer the better, midlands, staffordshire)

regards, matt

or email me; mattcrazyman@googlemail.com

Just keep an eye on autotrader, ebay, gumtree and friday ads. This seems to be where most turn up.

Perhaps it's the time of the year, or a little like buses; there's none, then three turn up at once.

Good luck, I'm also looking, albeit not for the same as you so there's no competition there.

i've literally been looking every day for about 2 weeks. I was very temped by a 740, looked really clean too, but in the end i didn't.

i think i might regret it, but without the turbo its pretty slow i guess.

though, i think these have just come on the bay, pretty cool

I agree with you that 740 2.0i w/o turbo = not quick (just sold my estate one), however, mega reliable and easy to get to everything on.

You'll find something soon.

yeah, and you can get some really great looking ones too, i found a pristine 740 GL, with 70k miles on it, and its about 20 miles away. Great price too, but i think it'd be much better to wait for a turbo, they're getting pretty rare now

States spares/repairs but might be just age. Worth a call perhaps?
