Apologies for my stupidity in advance, but what is an EZK, and does it do? and will it make my 940 estate look cooler or go faster?

EZK is the ignition box, it maketh the sparkies appear at the sparky plugz at the right timeses.
 Gold ones are notable for definitely having a socketed board inside (ie. chippable). So it won't do anything on it's own, you need an upgraded chip as well, to compliment and take advantage of all the other hardware you've fitted to ya engine for big POWA.
