V70r engine,m90 gearbox,sump,mounts,harness, rwd conversion
I'm considering selling my full rwd white block conversion. I have 2 and it'll be a couple of years until I get around to doing the conversion. I need the money at the minute so I'm considering selling one if I get a fair price.
What it includes 1997 v70r engine about 165.000 miles (excellent engine, was my daily driver for 4 years) Full engine harness with chipped ecu around 300bhp M90 gearbox with starter bracket. But u will need clutch fork and shifter linkage (they are easy enough to get, as there the same as a red block m90) I know this as I pinched them for my red block m90 swap, as I bought one without them. 960 sump (retro turbo do a exchange for £80 for a shortened sump) pick up pipe, dip stick 960 engine mounts, upper and lower 960 and 850 water pipes, which I've began to modify. Just need welding Later type t5 inlet manifold (end has been cut slightly to clear power steering reservoir return pipe) will need plate welding on The engine is complete except for turbo and injectors (which again I've pinched) I've removed the two studs on the exhaust manifold and drilled the holes. So the turbo can be spun around. I have everything u would need for the conversion minus turbo, injectors, gear linkage, clutch fork and propshaft. Read Chesh 740r t5 thread for what is involved in the conversion. I'm open to sensible offers Obviously collection only Last edited by Ml 1990 740 turbo; May 17th, 2015 at 19:18. |

Just thought! I think it was the turbo that I removed the studs and drilled not the manifold.

If you do decide to sell bits separate I could do with a V70r engine, have turbo and injectors still in my broken one...
