Default XC60 WAter laek in passenger foot well ?

Hi just entered car water found in passenger foot well , after all this snow although I had been regularly clearing snow , any ideas of cause please ?

Dont know if this is applicable to volvos but have you got leaves blocking the heater vents? I had one on another car which caused water to back up into the footwell.

I had this (common) issue and a re seal of the windscreen sorted it. You have my sympathies. Take a look at this thread on the main XC60 forum:

I had a similar issue in my volvo, found out that it was the windscreen seal that failed. Could try pushing up on the windscreen from the inside to see if there is any movement

I have rubber matts in the car and underneath they were wet this weekend and that was due to the snow on people’s shoes from the past week. Everyone was knocking snow off their shoes and boots before getting in, but there was still some on the carpets under the rubber.

Can I suggest you confirm it isn’t as simple as the snow by waiting a Few days that this isn’t the cause?

Thanks for replies all ,yes it was the front screen I pushed on it at top N/S and it moved luckily it had damage in Drivers view so insurance paid for it
