V90 2 buttons to close
Hi all, new to the forum . I am about to buy a v90 cc and noticed some cars have 2 buttons on the boot and some 1 . I gather this other button is to lock the car when the boot closes . Does anyone know if this comes with the pro pack or is it another pack as I would like this option when I order
Thanks in advance . |

I've got both buttons on my 67-plate Inscription and love it - such a small thing but use it loads and can't believe it's not more commonly seen.

Being totally ignorant on this "2-button" thing... does this mean that the car can be locked by pushing a button on the boot? Which leads me to the thought of "What if the keys are still in the car?"
Or... is it all just another technological gizmo for the sake of saying: "We've got "xyzabc"... na-na-na-na-naaaaaaa and none of the other cars have?" My first (proper) car was old Morris Oxford Farina Estate and it went all over the place without the benefit of all these technological "driver aids". All these buttons, dials, switches, warning lights, tv screens and associated "thingys" are just another thing to go wrong - and at great expense no doubt. Back in my time, a luxury addition was a radio (LW & MW only). But I suppose half the time one coulndn't here it for the noise of the engine, the wheels, bits falling off - especially Dagenham Dustbins or Longbridge motors! Ex-missus #1 was from Yorkshire, and they had a lovely expression for such 'extras' ; they are called "do-nowts"!
