Default Rear wing trim

Hi,

Would somebody please be so kind as to measure the length of the rear wing chrome side trim on a 4 door car please? I am trying to find suitable trim for another car and suspect that piece might be the right length. My car is a 2 door so I can't do it.

Thanks a lot

Dave

Hi Dave,
I too have a 2 door so cannot tell you the exact length. I have seen cars with the rear wing trim fitted to the front wings and they do look too short. I think the rears are 50 to 75 mm shorter than the front wings.
I hope this helps, I do have some somewhere from a stripped 4 door though I cannot find them at the moment due to moving house.

From flat end (behind rear door) to rearmost pointed end is 995mm (at least on my o/s !). My car is all original but can't check n/s cos too near garage wall and car not currently running.
Being such a popular car I find it odd nobody else has come forward quicker than me (unless of course they are working on their Amazons!).

Default Trim

From memory I think the 4 door saloon rear wing and the estate rear wing trim are the same length.

Different part number. I think the Estate one is longer.
All front wings the same. 4 doors, Saloon and Estate, are the same for each door. 2 door, 4 door, Estate rear wings all different.

Please post measurements for all pieces. Thanks Paul for the 4 door rear one.
