Have you done some work on the car or has this warning just appeared for no other reason?

i think it appeared for other reason, i have problems with door locking system, but i think that is not linked with the airbag problem.

There can be loom damage beneath the drivers seat which throws this type of fail.

I dont know details though

after two years the car has the problem, i will try to change the SRS module, because i figure out the problem is in that, i think maybe it un-condify/un-programing by itself.
i will write the news ( if i do)

If you change the module, it may prove the fault, but you’ll get another error as the new unit won’t be the correct one for the car.
I had an issue when I bought mine that srs codes wouldn’t reset even though the fault was clear. The module has to go for repair. Don’t know if this helps at all.

Angry SRS Service Urgent

I have this "SRS Airbag Service Urgent" displayed on dash on my XC70 2006 petrol engine for over a year, once i tried resenting using VIDA and didnt get that cleared, i then in frustration pushed DSTC, Four-C and all other switches on and off for some time, and then gave a final try, and this time the message went off for about a month time, and again its on display for the last 7 months, but my frustration skills didnt work after that

Makes me wonder if the connection on the back of the climate control unit needs reseating as the airbag circuit routes through it.
