You can read the boost with any diagnostic tool, do it under load 3rd 4gear,
The vnt is part of the turbo that opens and closes to control the boost, have a look on youtube,

Hi was the rolling road reading at the fly wheel or at the wheels ?
I see that your mate is a mechanic , he can tell you the boost it is making,
if you do not have the test gear, Bluetooth dongles very cheap, and use torque on android to read boost and MAF, up to £10

Not sure it just said 179hp and 398 torque but buying a dongle as we speak, and thank you for helping me out I really appreciate it, going to buy one that's torque can read

Hey again, the obd thing should be here Tuesday or Wednesday, on the read out got it here says "eng 179.2h"p and max torque" 397.9" so would you say that's not at wheels, when you look up my engine and remap sites it says 220-230hp and 450 torque so definitely not right, soon as that comes is there anything I need to look and tell you

manual or geartronic.

1 to 1 in geartronic is 5th gear, did they dyno it in 5th?

No it was done in 4th, its a manual 6 speed, just had new maf fitted today and the dongle came looks like it's pushing about 20 psi on boost, does that seem right, oh no codes in ecu except ecu communication fault

20psi is about right I think, does it hold the boost under load, or does it just peek on that and drop,
Ask the people that last mapped it what the boost is set to,

No it holds ok, can't ask the guy now stopped doing remapping about a year after mine was done, dave did you see the picture, so every remap says mine should be about 220bhp and 450 torque, mines no where near it any ideas next
