New belt here ill put it on tomorrow after work made a bracket to lock off pulley to help get dreaded nut off too :-)

Quick question ! I've made a lock off bar that uses pulley bolts is that centre nut reverse thread coz my breaker bar wont touch it !!

Hi.

I have never done it myself, but...

If you watch the video posted earlier and skip to the bit where he puts the impact wrench on the pulley nut, it looks like it’s a conventional thread. ie. anti-clockwise to undo.

Slow the video down on YouTube to confirm though as my eye sight isn’t what it used to be! lol.

No just a regular right handed thread. Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey.
The nut is tightened to 300Nm but needs more to undo so a well fitting socket and lots of leverage are required.

Maybe better to hire a Impact wrench, it will make life a lot easier and yer back and other joints , when Re Torquing the nut, I found with a Beam Type wrench it was hard going !!
