Maybe i had an odd-ball then, there wouldn't be much room for the starter on the left of a B230E K-Jetronic because of the fuel distributor.
Or maybe my memory is playing tricks, after all it's several years back now.

One of my old volvo's had a small switch under the light switch to turn day time lights on or off, it was a very small switch that required a very small srewdriver to turn it if I remember correctly.
