Default Amazon Section Register keeper

Hi Everyone

My name is Peter Ragg and I am your new Amazon Section Register Keeper, I have willingly volunteered and I look forward to it.

As you will read in the next Driver I love the Amazon with a passion, one of, if not the best classic car around. I have driven Amazons for decades and have restored over 10 in my time.

My remit is to raise the profile of this incredible classic and to get loads more Amazons being driven on a daily basis and to get more of them to the different BKVs, and also to have fun.

We will also have an Amazon day next year at a date and venue to be decided, I will need your help on this.

I will post regularly.

Please feel free to contact me anytime

Kind regards

Peter

I didn't realise that there was any doubt - pretty much all the Amazon buyers guides in the classic car mags describe them as the ultimate everyday classic car. Also, please tell us more about your Amazons!

I like the sound of this! If you need any help with the graphics / design for flyers or adverts, please let me know!

Welcome Peter and congratulations on taking up such a noteworthy cause. Specific Amazon get togethers and fun days are not very abundant in Scotland, do you think that is an area you might address.

Anthony, a get together in Scotland sounds like a great idea. I only moved here two years ago and the only thing I miss about being in England is plenty of autojumbles and classic meets, there hardly seem to be any in southern Scotland at all. There do seem to be quite a lot of classic cars on the road and I have noticed there are several members of this forum up here (if a little widely scattered!).

Anthony, tried to PM you but I don't have enough posts to my name so brought this thread back to the top of the list to see if you had read my message about meets in Scotland. Thanks
