Water leak in the 2008 V70 windscreen washer system
I'm new to Volvo - I have a leak in my windscreen washer system somewhere. When I top up the fluid and as long as the car is level there are no traces of leaks. If the car is parked such that the off side (driver side) is lower than the nearside I see fluid dripping away from the offside wheel arch near the bumper to a point where I get a low fluid alert. Any pointers as to where I should start looking? BTW this car has a winter pack installed - I think that just means it has washer jets for front lights

Not sure if this helps you but I had a leak on my system and it turned out that when they replaced my windshield they misrouted the hose that supplies both windshield nozzles and it got pinched by the hood arm on the RHS near the bottom of the windshield. I'm in Canada so the set-up may be mirror image for yours.

Do the washers actually work ? If not check to see if the filter in the top of the the filler neck is blocked. You may think the reservoir is full when actually it is empty.

Can be various issues. I've had a fair bit of trouble with mine.
When i first bought the car my windscreen washer fluid leaked too. This turned out to be due to splits in the plastic cable-tidy-like hoses which supply the headlight washer jets. These hoses are held with cable ties which have been tied too tight causing splits. I replaced the pipes and tied them with insulation tape instead. Just have to work your way around the system. I'd start by taking off the passenger side wheel and wheel arch (easy job) then you should be able to see the washer bottle and two pumps just behind the front bumper. Just follow the lines from the pumps then

Thanks all. I'll start with removing the pasanger side wheel and wheel arch plastic gard and see what I can find. I'm trying to avoid removing the bumper because it looks like too much effort
