Default ATF fluid spec for 2011

I can't find the right ATF oil brand for my 2011 TF80SC gearbox. VADIS says that from 2010 and afterwards you need to use product #31256774 (4L container).

Even Ravenol has 2 options. So, what non-original product is the right choice ?

RAVENOL ATF T-WS Lifetime
RAVENOL ATF T-IV Fluid

I use Ravenol ATF T-WS Lifetime which is the equivalent of BOT341

I would recommend confirming with the dealership. When I did my research for my 2010 V70 with the TF80-SC trans my owner's manual called for BOT341. My research as well as my local dealer confirmed that this lined up with JWS3309, Toyota IV, or Volvo #1161540.

Buuuut, apparently they switched the specs for the same transmission for 2011 models and onwards (for vehicles with same trans). From that point onwards they recommended Volvo 31256774/31256775, Toyota AWF-WS, or JWS3324.

Don't mess around - make absolutely sure you get this right.

I too was very wary of using the incorrect spec oil - did a lot of research before plumping for Ravenol ATF T-WS Lifetime now done over 11k miles using it with no problems at all.

Don't get this, 2010, and 2011 have the same gearbox, but different fluids??

Hey I am looking for replacement Oil for my V40 CC D3 TF-80SD transmission, and I think I will go for the ravenol. But how can it be AW-1, JW3324 and BOT341 at the same time when BOT341 seems to be used in manual transmissions?

EDIT/ My bad, mixed up MPS6 which is i guess the automatic box and the D2 and the M66 which is the manual trans.
Still confused about Ravenol being AW1, JWS324 and BOT341 at the same time ...

The JWS id is what you should go with. It's either JWS3309 or JWS324. The older transmissions called for JWS3309 and then some time in 2011 Volvo switched to JWS324. Ignore BOT341. Like I said previously though, I highly recommend that you at least call your local dealership parts dept, give them your VIN and ask them what Volvo part # they suggest for ATF. You can line that up with either 3309 or 324 stuff.
