  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Passively you are driving one of the safest cars on the road, same reason I bought a V70, biggest safest thing I could carry my 2 month old son in. So if that 20 ton tipper hit you, you would of stood half a chance of surviving.

Actively even the best cars of today can't account for driving it when its defective, so you can't really lay the blame with Volvo on this one.

Still a scary experience and I hope you not shaken too badly

Sorry, but yes I have to go with the majority. What we have here is more proof that the most dangerous component of any car is the nut holding the steering wheel.
