thanks for the moral support , but to be fair I was a rough on him in my first reply, I could have just as easily said yes the battery is 'installed' in the boot, and that would have been that, I shouldn't have got personal but hey ho it's done now.
I may end up keeping the car anyway, one of the reasons I'm selling it is the wife doesn't like the auto, but now she's said if it was a manual then she'd have no problems us selling her VW instead and keeping the 850. She's got to give 3 months notice so I've at least 3 months to sort it before are planned move. I've just need to decide whether to sell the car as planned then look for a manual T5-R or 850R or to just get stuck in and swap it to manual. What I don't want to do is sell it then buy another with costly problems, now this one is all sorted in that respect it's only the G/B that's a problem, may be I will change the box, or sell the car OH i don't know, to many options!!!

I appreciate that mate , and as I said I'd had a bad day and accept I was out of order, looks like the car will be staying after all, I've located a manual box and should be able to get on with changing it soon, the TVR will have to wait for it's new interior,

Dam it! I was hoping for round two there...

I lost interest in a car here when the seller didn't state price after asking, he ended up selling to someone else for £300 less than I would have offered..

Didn't know the 7 seat conversion was that heavy!! might have to get rid of mine since i have about 0 kids.. and none on the way!

Good to see you are friends again and good luck with the cars both of you..!
