Default Bi Xenon Lights Problem No Side Lights Help

Hello Everyone.
I have just joined this forum so all this is new to me. I have a slight problem & was wondering if anyone has come across this.
I have a 2004 V70 fitted with Bi Xenon lights. I have had the car just a year & had my 1st service this weekend at a local Volvo specialist garage. The problem is my car does not have any side lights only the xenon & full beam.
There is not even any housing for the bulbs to go into. Where i had the car serviced the technician uses to work at a local Volvo dealership & he cannot understand it. He is contacting Volvo tomorrow to find out more information.
Has anyone come across this before & should my car legally be on the road with no side lights. The car has had 3 services before by Volvo garages so i relly do not understand. Could anyone out there who has these lights fitted please have a look at their headlghts to see if you to have no side lights.
Thank you
Regards
David

Hi,

Not knowing the spesifics of your car, you should have DRL or day running lights.

If you look at your Owner Manual it should detail how to switch these on and off (unless it needs to be done by a dealer).
There should be a small slot screw adjustment on the switch for your lights for turning on and off (given that they can be user adjusted).

Des. . .
