Default Radio distortion

Hi all,
I have 2002 V70 XC which has devloped an annoying distortion when in radio or TV mode but strangley not when plaing a CD which elliminates the possibility of a blown speaker, the distortion seems to be worse from the front door speakers. Anyone else had this problem? The car does have an aftermarket Motorola bluetooth kit fitted but this has been fitted ages and the problem has only just appeared. I am guessing it would either the amp or head unit at fault? Any advice appreciated

Simon.

Unlikely to be the amp as your CD is ok.

I suspect there is a fault on the main board of the radio.

We can repair the unit for you

Marcel, What would be the cost to have my HU803 repaired, originally in my posting I mentioned the radio was distorted but the cd played fine, now both are distorted
Kindest regards
Simon.

Difficult to price without having had a look at the unit,
I will come back to you with price before work is completed.

regards Marcel
