'54 V70 SE D5 geartronic w/sunroof for sale
For sale is my V70, a sad day for our family has lead to my inheriting some money, which I've stumped into another car. I hadn't planned on changing it, but the time has come:
Geartronic with winter mode SE spec 17" alloys - recent front tyres Full cream leather - no rips or tears dual air con - blows nice & cold 4disc cd changer with dolby and 9 speaker setup electrically adjustable front seats, drivers with 3 memory settings (programmed to ign key) Winter pack Headlight washers Thicker mats Two stage heated front seats Optional extras Wood trim Electric glass sunroof (tilt & slide) Changes I've made (since April 2011) MTE remap - est 190 bhp and 400Nm from Don Bilstein B6 dampers all round - rears <1000 miles ago and fronts last weekend Additional springs in rear suspension setup (as I had some extra speakers in) Boost gauge in dash pod - black face when ign off Rear drop links replaced with heavy duty ones (how-to write-up on here ) DRLs turned off, so the headlamps do as the switch suggests Routine servicing air, fuel & pollen filter about a month ago oil & filter 2 weekends ago Front spring seats and the upper bearings (the metal plates @£90/each :O) replaced with dampers new wipers all round in winter Full stamped service history up until I received it at 108k, now just turned 119k, MoTs, bills & recepits etc all here, cam belt done etc. 2 keys present, MoT passed <1 month ago with only advisory on rear pads, tax til end May There is a tow bar fitted which I was dubious about, but having seen the receipt, the previous owner had it fitted, and only towed a trailer (which I saw) so nothing heavy. My dad wants it but can't afford it just yet. Was offered £4000 by a Volvo dealer in p/x after they drove it, but after going out in theirs I didn't want it. Price: £4400, location NE15. Pictures to follow, can't access them on this computer. Thanks, Dan.

2 pictures
more photos tomorrow when its light outside.
Also, lower wishbone bushes changed, fronts to poly, rears standard replacement. Upper engine mount already changed to newer square type. Steering inner & outer rods changed around 4 months ago with full alignment afterwards. ATF fluid changed twice by me, so is probably ok for another trouble free 30k.

more photos
Including the driver's seat bolster - known to wear the most on a leather interior.

Hi Dan, can you clarify, you are selling a 54 plate v70 D5 for £4400? What is your best price?
I need a very reliable caravan tower pronto, off to look at van tomorrow in Crewe, we live in Lincoln. On nights sat an sun so couldn't get to view till following sat but think it sounds and looks just what we need? I'm in no way, shape or form knowledgable about all the work that you've carried out, but I can tell you've certainly looked after her, by what you've written. Very interested. Kind Regards, Chris and Paula |

Hi Chris & Paula (and everyone else of course )
Yes, 54 plate, just before the introduction of the debatably troublesome DPF. I had a 53 plate S60 before this, and made sure I didn't buy too new. It is detachable, has 1 socket for wiring plug, so believe this would not be twin electrics but I've never towed anything so must plead ignorance here. You're welcome to have a look and walk away if its not right for you. Attached photo of actual item. Anything else just ask away. I am collecting my new car Sat (14th) assuming its ok as I've not seen it yet. Thanks, Dan.
