V70r
The box on the roof was originally with the owners previous vehicle-it was white but he wanted he spray matched to this. The box has been stored in a garage and never used since it was sprayed.
The previous owner did pay £40,000 new, he was a retired chief constable with the police. This was his retirement present to himself, every conceivable extra was put on at the time at his request. However, 9 months later he passed away and his wife inherited the car. Since then, she has used the car to go back & forth to Tesco! Due to ill health, she has had to sell the car. As the previous post said, this is a Volvo, not a Ford! It is a one off, very rare car and is a joy to drive. |

Slightly over specced for a shopping car! Still she wouldn't waste any time on the journey. Wonder if its been in top gear since she's been driving it?
I've just bought an 05 plate one with £65k on the clock. |

if i had 10k to drop on a car i'd obviously be in a VERY comfortable position in life....
i'd buy this & put it into storage on a trickle charge, in ten years time this will be worth an Absolute bomb!!! , cmon peeps its like buying an antique & sticking it in the cupboard for a decade or two.....

in ten years time i'll bet this would be 'the only' P2 V70R globally with that sort of mileage & condition, unless Volvo have one on a pedastool somewhere... its not about the power... its the fact that the car has not been abused & is in 'AS NEW' condition, £40k from the factory with all the toys, as has been said cars like this dont come up often. but yeah... that top box would be coming straight off.
