Question Starts but only idels

Hi peeps .
I have a 2006/7 volvo xc90 with 184000 on the clock.went into limp mode called thae aa out they took it to a volvo specialist who then came up with the faults as in egr /swirl flaps and throttle modual.so i removed the egr and cleaned replaced throttle modual with a brand new volvo one ,replaced the swirl flaps.now the problem i have is that it will not rev and have a message on the dim soot filter full.can any one guid me in the right direction to fix this problem.i put the car on vida and nothing showed up .

Something must have showed up because you have a fault message regarding the dpf. There must be codes stored in the ecm for the message to show.

Its still in a 'safe mode' and the DPF, at least' needs clearing out.

But as already stated, there will be codes that VIDA can read and thats the way you need togo forward, to at least activate a DPF clean.

You won't break it....... Just keep away, as everything on technology, from delete and reset... unless you want to.

Eyes wide open. But have a good delve into it. You'll learn a lot.
